Instead of cosying under my blanket, in the comfort of my bed, I choose to sit here like a zombie in front of an idiot box. I wish I could write like I used to. I used to have such strange ideas in my head and I would pen these down into what I thought was poetry. In retrospect, now I know it was mostly disconnected thoughts, emotions, sights, sounds and tastes put into words, formed into sentences with severe grammatical errors. It was a tangled web of ideas, so shallow and ill supported. Now I've finally rid myself of all the eccentric thoughts that used to lurk in the crevices of my dusty mind, and I'm left with no muse to revive the flaccid, almost dead being in me that used to love creating, writing and embracing all the banes that came along with being so neurotically expressive. I don't know whats worse. Not being able to write or only being able to write crap.

That's right, I'm home. Touched down at 1pm, bummed around at home and went for Christmas carolling. Once again- it's amazing how time flies. Can't wait to collect my photographs! I'm looking for a good site to upload my digital photos! A fuss-free, easy to manage one would be the best. Would really appreciate some suggestions, thanks! That's it, I'm way too tired!

Hey! 4 ppl are online! Any friends?? Haha, I get really bored and lonely here sometimes. It kinda sucks living with the same 3 ppl for 3 whole weeks. So far we have been in several nasty arguements etc. Not a pretty sight. Oh!! the dogs here are sooo bigg. Haha. If I lived in Europe I would defintely get a dog, a Chow Chow to be exact. Lotsa St Bernards here! Also a lot of good lookers. Heh. Ok.

This keyboard is totaly different from that I have at home! Im in Zermatt, Switzerland now. To be precise, Im at a bar, heh. The temperature is about -4 degrees!! The streets are mostly thick with snow and its simply beautiful here. Köln and München was great too, though we spent only a night there. They have Christmas markets and the stuff they sell lovely, expensive, but really pretty. I spent the last few days learning how to ski!! One of my greatest wish is to ski at the great Kline Matterhorn!! Its sooo beautiful. I also went ice skating, with the beautiful mountains in the background.. Zermatt is in a valley, with mountains surrounding it. The skating ring is soooo big, its like three times that in Singapore! The ice is soooo smooth and wow, I had tons of fun skating!! Wish I could figure skate. Haha.
Today we went up to Kline Matterhorn..And the view there is spectacular.. I swear Ive never seen a view thats more amazing than this! We took a cable car, more like a cable bus because it could squeeze 100 people in it! The mountain is so high that we were way above the clouds! The view was really breathtaking, I took like a million photos, haha! But its freeeezing up there, I wore like 4 layers of clothes but its still oh so cold!! Oh and I got a sunburnt from skiing and skating! The sun here is really hot.. it feels weird to be feeling both hot and cold.. but there you are. Oh yah, the guy whom we rented our ski equpiment from was such a darling, he has lovely blue eyes. His name is Andreas. Nice huh? Well hes married. Haha. The ski instuctor kept calling me honey, but I think thats cause he forgot my name. :) Well, the people here are mostly really nice and friendly. I made friends with a Canadian boy the other day on the ski ring. Oh!! Everyone here thinks we are either Jap or from China. They come up to us and say Konichiwa. DUH!
Gonna take a train to Paris tomorrow. Weve been rushing around, catching trains and everything. I dont fancy long train rides that much.. unless its the orient express or something. Haha. Annnyway, shoutouts to Boonie and Ping!! Miss you ppl :) How did the photos turn out?? I cant wait to go shopping where things are cheaper!! Stuff is soooo ex here, like water. A Macdonals meal s like 8-10 bucks. Madness. Well I gotta go soon, its only like 5 plus but its really dark outside.. feels like 9pm. Heh. More soon. Miss you people. Although Im having fun, I really really miss home. Guess I could never live overseas, heh.

HEY EVERYONE! My fingers are totally freezing right now! :) How are you guys doing?? I'm at Amsterdam (Holland) right now! Am at a internet cafe, it's 1 Euro (S$1.75) per 17 mins, ha. Anyway, the weather here is about 3 degress. Really, really chilly!! Our next stop is Cologne (Germany), we're going there by train. Last night was pretty bad, I was feeling super cold, lonely and damn cranky. To put it simply, I felt like shit. But today's much, I hope. We're going to a church later. Oh, the buildings here are really old and lovely! A lot of scupltres and carvings on the buildings. There are gargoyles on the hotel building. About the hotel, it's a really small, but cosy one. We've got to climb up like 2 flights of stairs to get to our floor. And the stairs are REALLY narrow and steep!! Kinda scary. There's a fat, adorable cat here too.
The days here are really short and time passes really slow. It get dark at around 5pm, and I slept at 7 last night. Woke up at 5:30am! Think I'm not really used to the time here or something. ANYWAY, I'm really missing warmth! I stood under the hot shower for like 1/2 an hour, so shiok. ;) Ok, think I'll end here. We're going to the Van Gogh museum after this, and hopefully a nearby park. Heard its really beautiful. Oh, yesterday we went to Anne Frank's home, but didn't go in cause the queue was pretty long. There's also some homosexual monument, heh. Dedicated to some pioneer of the homos movement. Lotsa flowers there! OH, the flowers are lovely here, especially the tulips. But other than that, the trees have no leaves at all since it's winter time. No snow though, can't imagine how cold it would be then!! I'm already freezing as it is! And that's under two thick layers! I'm even wearing thermal underpants, yuck! But it helps a lot.
The shopping here is GREAT!!!! I can't believe it. Thought it would be a dreary place, but nope!! No way. It's like rows and rows of shops a la Mango, Zara, Bebe, Warehouse! Super upmarket!! And they've got such a fantastic variety of BOOTS!! Gotta love them! Anyway, I bought this beautiful black top from a boutique. We didn't check out the exchange rate properly, thought it was quite an okay price. But after calculating (after we purchased it), we realized that it cost about S$60. Oops. Bought leather gloves, cause my previous ones were'nt warm enough. Ok, I'll go now. Missing you sweets! Love you! Bye. :)

Last night was simply wonderful. Everyone looked so beautiful in their gowns! We took about a million photographs, can't wait to get them developed. Wow, it was really such a splendid night, although I hardly got any sleep and I'm suffering from lethargy right now! I could go on gushing about last night but I think given the state I'm in, it's all gonna be incoherant babble. Think I'll update this when I'm overseas! Anyway, here's a big thank you to everyone who made graduation night so memorable! ;) We were all chockful of emotions during the last half an hour of grad night. Red eyed, smudged mascara, not a pretty sight huh? My secondary school life is OVER. It's over, it really is. And the funniest thing is that, it happened in the twinkling of an eye, just like that.
Anyway, I've got to finish up my packing!!! YES, I'm not done yet! This is crazy and I'm feeling so worn out, I really don't know how I'm gonna get through today. Of course I could sleep on the plane, but I'd be missing out on the nice movies on board! Haha. My flight is in the evening but we have to check in at the airport pretty early! This sucks, I feel like I can't bear to leave this place for 3 whole weeks! I know I'm supposed to be really excited but I can't help feeling like I'm gonna be missing people really badly! By the time I come home, Christmas would be just around the corner! Wow. Anyway, I'm gonna miss all my favourite girls!
Shiping, thanks for the letter is was really sweet of you!! I'm really gonna miss all the crazy times we've spent!! I can't believe how much stupid things we've done in the past 2 years!! We really crack each other up (alkanes).. boy am I gonna miss that!!! REALLY! Wow.
Boonie, hey bimbo, oops, I mean babe!!! :) Hello sweets, you and Ping still look pretty when you all cry lah, don't worry :D Haha. Thanks for all the times we've shared too! We're all neoprint freaks!!! :)
And to Pris, Sha, Simin and Lydia baby!! I love you all tooooo! I'm really gonna miss you guys!! It's been an incredible and simply wonderful experience knowing this crazy bunch of you! ;) It's also amazing how we've more or less sticked together for the past 4 years.. do we rock or WHAT?! It's weird but I think it's gonna be real hard to find people like you guys to hang out with in the future.. you guys are just.. eccentric most of the time, but that's why I love you! Haha! Okay.
Really got to pack now, there's far too many things I might forget. Gonna miss you people!! :)

The quote of today is, "The price of praise!" What a strange way to end off the night. :) This aunty approached Daryl and I at the bus stop and said she wanted to borrow my phone. She ended up calling 19 different numbers, some of which were variations of the same number. Bah! Oh and she asked us if we were getting married. Haha!

I had dinner at three different restaurants today. Yep, you've heard me right, three different restaurants, for the main course, the appetizer and lastly, dessert. And in this exact order too. How strange, you say. I couldn't agree more, but there we were eating to our heart's (stomach's, really) desire. First up was Fish and Cos, then it was Kenny Rogers and lastly, NYDC, finishing off our sumptuous dinner with a sinfully delicious brownie, topped with nuts, ice-cream and drowned in chocolate fudge. I've just realized how this blog of mine is slowly turning into a food log. Maybe I could start a new trend, the flog. Good food is definitely one of the greatest pleasures in life. :)
Rehearsals for graduation night was carried out this morning, at an unearthly hour of 8am. Well, after the Os ended, I slipped back into the habit of sleeping at 2,3am and waking up only at 11am, after lazing around in bed for at least a good half an hour. I think all that eating is making me feel sleepy now. Think I'll have an early night.

My godfather (well, I call him Godpa) treated my mom and I to dim sum today. If you want to have really good dim sum, try Crystal Jade at Paragon! This new branch opened two months ago and apparently, it's the more refined, luxurious of it's sister branches here! And I can see why. From the outside, it looks like a hip nightclub, with a posh red carpet that leads inside and a bar to boot! It's really nice and cosy once you're inside, and with all the unique lightings and interior designing, it really was such a pleasure to have lunch there. Especially when the dim sum was so fresh and delicious! It wasn't too greasy, too bland or too overpowering in taste, as dim sum in other places sometimes are. Anyway, I was just nicely full, but my godfather kept insisting that I try some dessert. Haha, being the pig that I am, I relented after a while. :) I had "oh-ni". Ok, I have no idea how to spell that. I think I ought to steer clear of foods that would tempt me to keep eating if I still want to fit into that gown of mine. Graduation night is in three days time! It's a little strange how most of us are so hyped up over it. It's not like we have dates to impress, heh. But oh well, a little dressing up won't hurt would it?
