Queen of random excuses and all things irrelevant, or Rachel for short. Dreaming too much has been proven detrimental to my mental capabilities (if any), although I seldom admit so due to childish pride. My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely. I am disorganized and irrational and no, I don't cook or sew. Despite popular belief, I'm not arrogant, I'm just a terrible conversationalist. I'd like to think that I'm young, naive and sweet, as 16 year old girls should be. I also like to think that, equipped with my pseudo lomo, paper journal and coloured markers, I'm capable of world domination. Have I mentioned that I dream too much? And yes, despite having a blog that mainly revolves around my life, I'm not as narcissistic (i got it right this time, daryl) as I seem. Really.

I feel so useless. Went for Literature class at 8 this morning, shopped for a while after that, and lazed on my bed for the entire afternoon. Go me! But believe me, if you had a bed like mine, you would do the same. :) Tempting, isn't it?

Anyway, YES, Boon the shopping itch is here (yet again!) The red gigantic letters keep popping up EVERYWHERE I go. I'm such a sale whore, haha! Yeah, I dig bargains. It's sad though, everytime I go shopping with the girls, I end up not buying anything. My favourite shopping partner would be, no doubt, my mother. She's the best!

Anyway, surprise, surprise, I have a Mock English exam tomorrow and Literature one on Friday. The Chinese one I had recently was a Mock paper too. Don't worry, I don't get the "mock" rubbish either. But really, it's just, to put it simply, another of the many 3217895092 more tests I have to sit for. No biggie.

Ballet Under the Stars was fun. I'm bored now. Just woke up and feeling a little groggy. Eeeh. Must get ready for wedding soon. Shopping was fun yesterday too. Bought some nifty things, yay. Me is happy girl. Arrghh. Sleep. -_-

Hello. Right now, I'm flipping through a trashy magazine while making a mental want(wish)shopping list, fantasizing about (you didn't actually believe I would tell you, right?).. , sneezing my life away and waiting for The Talented Mr Ripley (oo,lovelovelove) to start. Maybe Mr Ripley will inspire me enough to flee from this humdrum. Sigh. Did I mention that there's a chinese test tomorrow? (fakes gasp & fearful look in eyes)

Well, there is. When are we going shopping?!! When is this blasted week gonna end?! WHEN CAN I FINALLY wake up at 3pm, dye my hair purple, put on glitter green mascara and attempt to dance the salsa the entire day or lie on my bed all afternoon on a VCD marathon while annihilating (burning) anything related to WORK!!!! Me = melodrama. Ha... Rant, rant, rant. Can't find my handphone. Reckon it's somewhere on my bed but am much too lazy to look for it. Oh, bother. I'm.. I'M OFF TO BE SOMEBODY!

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!! Just came home from AKA A CAPELLA! :) Powwweerful stuff! Really. Wow, I'm so super impressed! :) Am such a happy, happy girl now. They're so talented, really! Can't stop gushing about the performance. It was so entertaining and hilarious and inspiring all at the same time! There was a George Michael sound-a-like who captivated many hearts, uh, the hip gyrating Vocaluptous.. etc, etc. I could go on forever, but I think I'll save you from all this blabbering nonsense! Hehe. I so love all the performances!! Budak Pantai was as usual, pretty darn hilarious. Yay. Fantastic, fantastic. :) Superb! Ekkkkceellento! :) I must try to stop bouncing off the walls now!!

After the concert, we went for dinner. We ate "Fatman's" satay. Ever tried satay that melts in your mouth? This is it, baby! :) Really yummylicious! I smelt like bbq after that, but ooh well. Now I'm all fresh out of the shower and squeaky clean! Anyway, had such an exciting weekend, if I should say so myself! Goody. Now it's time to worry about things like uncompleted homework and tests. Oooh. Very sad, it is. BUT, shan't let such worries cloud my mind. Haha! (Not like it ever does, really)

Decided to quit whining about the heat, and instead use it to my advantage. I know this doesn't sound me, but hey, the heat does do strange things to one's mind. So yes, I went "sun-bathing" today. Swam for half an hour and laid on the deck chair under the scorching sun for another. I figured I could do with a tan, but it seems like the sun doesn't quite like me. Well, I have slight tan lines on my neck and all, but I don't appear to be any darker. In fact, I received some shocked expressions when I said I went sun-bathing. "But you're still so fair!" Maybe half an hour can't do much. Before the swim, I was with Shiping. Was supposed to do some homework. Well, you can guess what happened in the end.

Watched a video about dinosaurs and how they fitted into the Bible. That was pretty interesting, although the unnecessary anti-American sacarsm was a major turn-off. Incidentally, the speaker was an Australian. Played badminton at my cousin's place after dinner. Would have been a little more fun if I could serve that shuttlecock properly. I must get my ambidexterous 8 year old cousin to teach me. He's got some potential, I say! We had a Japanese themed dinner. Cold soba noodles, Jap tofu soup, weird tasting tea, the works. Sometimes I'm glad my mum isn't a good cook (it runs in the blood) because I would probably be a balloon by now.

My blanket is coiled around me now, except for my hands, of course. Waiting for my hair to dry before I fall into deep slumber. Anyway, don't send me any ICQ messages. My ICQ is down. That stupid, stupid program refuses to work. It just crashed one afternoon. Just like that. Simply frustrating.

The heat is unbearable. This gives me good reason to take a cold shower, turn on the aircon at full blast and sleep in the nude. I'm kidding about the last part. Argh. I swear the heat is to be blamed! I can't think straight while trying to fan myself or wipe away the beads of pespiration on my forehead. This is crazy!!!!

Ah yes, a new layout. I haven't updated for about a week, I know! Been pretty preoccupied with more important things, ie, sleep. Yesterday I caught Star Wars Episode 2- Attack Of the Clones. Truth is, I know nuts about Star Wars. The characters are too many and too complex. But yes, I enjoyed it mainly because of the super cool effects, like the various backdrops and of course, the agonized love between Anakin & Padme. That Hayden fellow is mighty cute and Natalie Portman, of course, looked so incredibly gorgeous. :) But of course, everyone's favourite scene would be when Yoda, that cute little green thing kicked some ass. Haha. Small is powerful. Point proven.

Well, went to watch SMU's play, Whispers In The Dark just now. I swear it was a total adaptation of the teen flick, Gossip. But I enjoyed it nonetheless! It revolved around the theme of deceit and rumours. And of course lots of booze and sex as well. That's the way the story goes.

I was watching the VCD (converted from the orginal VHS) of my 2nd birthday party. :) It's kind of strange watching yourself, as a little 2 year old, tripping over your own shoes and kissing random kids. Oh well. I never grew up. :) Anyway, I'm exhausted. Been such a long, long day!
