[ of candles and lemon drop cookies! ]

Caught Return of the King on Monday and loved it! Apparently, there's an extended version of it, with the unedited parts. Now, if only I can lay my hands on that. :) This entry does not do justice to my liking for LOTR!! Okay, I can't claim to be a hardcore fan, but I did enjoy it nonetheless. Especially after Return of the King. Fantasy is always appealing. :)
Today was spent looking at staplers. Surprisingly, it was rather fun. I love you and all your little quirks. :)
And tomorrow.. well, tomorrow's gonna be busy. Let's see if I have enough will power to get up early so I can get my Cranberry butter and scrubs. Ha. I have a penchant for delicious smelling body stuff. I've just finished my TBS Nut and Simply Scent Yuzu butters! And now for more.. ;)
As for now, I'll enjoy this lovely night. I'm lemming for lots of yummy body butters and sugar scrubs right now. Thinking of getting the foody scented ones. Delicious! And also nice, scented candles to sweeten up my room. I wanna smell like a freshly baked lemon drop cookie.
As of late, my entries hardly make sense. Oh well. It's the last day of 2003. That's a tad bit depressing if you ask me.

I hate it when tears come at the most unexpected moments. Like when you're having a bowl of 'bah chor mee' at a hawker centre with your parents.
I've been having too much good food these days (read: I've been stuffing myself). But all in the spirit of festivity of course, meaning that it WILL have to stop next year. We went for a Sakae buffet yesterday from 3-6, and after that I went for a Christmas dinner. I couldn't eat any meat at all, so I settled for the salad. Boy, was I stuffed that night. This evening we had sashimi at my aunt's place. So yes, this Christmas has warmed my heart and filled my stomach. :)
This Christmas I wanted so much to meet up with my relatives. I missed my bratty cousins, my loud uncles, the nice and not so nice gifts.. Suddenly it striked me that Christmas will never be the same without my family. Well, I never really thought I was a 'family' sort of person.. but who knew?
Playing Taboo last night was loads of fun. It didn't matter that I sucked since I was on the winning GIRLS team. Haha. We had a ball of a time and I enjoyed myself tremendously. :)
Just came home from a Corrinne May concert. I'm in love with her songs! I think she's a fantastic songwriter. She IS a fantastic songwriter. Her songs are sensitive, encouraging and well, I found myself tearing a little. It's indeed touching. Now, that was a perfect way to round off the night. That, and a nice walk down the Esplanade with him. *blissful sigh*
Okay, sorry. That was tacky.
My mind is fuzzy now. I think I might be coming down with a flu. I feel woozy. And I'm craving for lychees, sans the martini this time.

I can't wait for Christmas next year!!
Seriously, I can't! I'm actually excited about getting gifts for people for next year! Isn't that just mad? Well, perhaps it's because I had one of the most splendid Christmasses today. Spent it with my loved ones, my family and my gorgeous girl friends this morning, and Daryl and his family in the evening. THANK YOU all for the presents! I love each and every one of them, for all the well thought out gifts and cards, for making Christmas that much more special! :) Christmas is such a great reminder of all the blessings in my life! And there is just so much to be thankful for. It is even more wonderful that we celebrate in His name, for He is the true reason behind Christmas. All praise to His name for His many blessings, as well as the greatest gift of all. :) Merry Christmas everyone! :)
... Of peace on earth good will to men!

For the first time in weeks, I'm spending the afternoon at home. Alone on a Christmas Eve. Feels nice, actually. Woke up early this morning to drop by the photo shop, Jason's supermarket and Orchard mrt station. Bought some lovely orange gerberas to add to the festivity! Sam was wearing orange so it complimented the whole look! How cute. Speaking of cute, something made me chuckle to myself today! I saw a bus driver wearing a Santa hat! Such good cheer! Well, anyway, I'm gonna go freshen up for dinner tonight. It's going to be a lovely night, I hope.

wow. it's almost christmas again. every year it never fails to strike me how fast time flies. but here we are again. the past week has been absolutely crazy! boon would know why. it's been so jam-packed with activites that i barely have time to rest my feet till i get home after dark! we had christmas carolling on Sunday night. it was a lovely time spent. monday was more shopping with boon seer whilst today spelt even more christmas buys with serene and delia. yup, bank account's bleeding alright. is it just me or is everyone shopping A LOT more this year? town was absolutely packed this evening! it felt like the eve of y2k. that was plain horrendous. seems like everyone is in the mood to spend! people are actually forming queues outside Louis Vuitton just to get in! that's just mad. anyway, completed most of our Christmas shopping today, daryl and i. :) crabtree and evelyn has lovely gift wraps! okay. will be meeting pris and lydia tomorrow. who's going to be the latest? i think it'll be a tough fight. :) i hope i'll have some time alone though. there's so much to do. but most importantly, i MUST take some time off, aside from this mad Christmas rush.
oh! some silly shots we took at pris' place! :) once again, ignore the silliness. haha, the pseudo jap photo is just hilarious!

You to me are everything, the sweetest song that I can sing! :) I'm listening to the Budak Pantai cover of this song! It's way cute. :) Everyone should have a listen!
What a wonderful night, spending time with Daryl and my friends. :) After watching Shades of Grey, we hopped down to Cafe Cartel for supper and ate ourselves silly as usual. But it's perfect like that. :) As part of our Christmas tradition, Boon, Ping and I took lots of photos today.. so Boon! Upload them now!! Well, despite the rain, it was a splendid night. I'm definitely happy. :) I think that's quite obvious from my generous usage of smileys in this entry. Heh. Since it's not everyday that one feels this blissful, I shall indulge and be thankful for it! :) Pardon the silly grins. We were both delirious and incredibly full.
